Being a Drone 15x user since 2017 base mag on thermal scopes has always put me off buying but after chatting to Kev and Grant i went for the A7 and with no regrets . The 7x base mag is the key for rifle scopes where as 2x or similar is the key for spotting .
Great unit…… Mine sits on a 220 Swift and the Drone on a 6mm WSM …. Perfect combo and spoiled for choice !!

Unfortunately my first sight developed a fault but was quickly replaced within three working days by Ian. Very impressed with the A7 after a month’s shooting, built like a tank with a 100% stable mount enabling precise grouping, I can put a round dead centre into a 2″ foil square at 150 yards. I can’t afford 5 of these so it’s used on all my rifles, simple to swop between calibres. Very clear image, I would put this at the top end, if not top of 320 sensor sights. Positively identified and shot my second fox easily at 220 yards but should be good for 300. Pity it hasn’t got a 640 sensor and RAV + sound on the video but I don’t think you will currently get better value for the price.

Being a long term Armasight Drone user, and seen, looked through various Thermals but not being convinced by the identification abilities of the units I have looked through, including a Ward WT1 75 3 which if you listened to the hype, it was the best thing since sliced bread, but I was very disappointed with it and could never trust it to hold zero, my thermal ambitions were put on hold.
But then came along the Senopex A7, even though I’d convinced myself that I’d wanted a Pulsar Xp50 Thermion 2 with the rangefinder on it, Ian Blackwood advised me to try the Senopex A7 as an option also, because it would make a fantastic Foxing Scope, well I’m glad to say he wasn’t wrong, it’s by far the best thermal rifle I’ve seen, and I’ve looked through many.
Ian could have kept quiet and sold me the more expensive Pulsar unit but he give me sound honest advise, for my longer distance shooting needs, so all in all I am very pleased with my purchase.

Being a drone x10 shooter and having tried most nv units , when a non sponsored very competent shooter said that this unit will take over from the drone , I decided to take the plunge, and wow what a great piece of kit , very high build quality, simple to use, and a really clear image , I spotted a roe deer the other evening 683 mtrs, clear as a bell, and as regards the supplier blackwoods, in Ian you will not find a more honest and helpfull chap

Bought the senopex a7 after having a look through a freinds we did a side by side on the top end thermion and hik micro scopes the senopex blew them both away at longer ranges
I think it’s the perfect U.K. foxing thermal with the 7x base mag and it holds zero it’s been solid for me
10 out 10 thermal 👍

I Brought the Senopex A7 on recommendation from a friend, I use a Drone Pro so the A7 has a lot to live up to, after speaking with Ian who was very helpful an knowledgeable about the product. I purchased a unit and was very impressed with the build quality and the mount. Its mounted on a 243. It’s easy to set up and the one shot set up is brilliant. First evening out I saw a fox at 330 yards and you could identify it with ease and could easily have shot it at that distance, image quality is fantastic and with the Picture in Picture for the added zoom is perfect for long range shots. I can highly recommend Blackwood Outdoors and the Senopex A7.
Thanks Stu
