NocPix Mate Thermal Scope Add Ons – Compare Models
The NocPix Mate series is a modular thermal clip-on platform designed for forward-mounted use with a daytime riflescope. Models differ primarily by sensor resolution, objective lens size, detection capability and integrated laser rangefinder availability.
Which NocPix Mate model should you choose?
- Sensor resolution tier – 384, 640 and 1280 formats progressively increase image detail and long-range discrimination.
- Objective lens diameter – 35mm, 38mm, 50mm and 60mm lenses influence detection reach and front-end balance.
- Detection priority – Consider realistic engagement distance rather than maximum advertised figures.
- Integrated LRF requirement – R-designated models include a 1200m laser rangefinder and ballistic calculation; Lite models omit this for reduced weight.
- Magic Zoom availability – Available on higher-tier R models for enhanced magnification flexibility.
- Weight and rifle balance – Compact models minimise added weight, while Ultra configurations are designed for extended-range builds.
- Battery configuration – Ultra models are supplied with extended battery provision for prolonged sessions.
| Model | Sensor Resolution Tier | Objective Size Class | LRF Included | Detection Profile |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mate Lite | 384 | Compact | No | Short–Mid Range |
| Mate H35R | 640 | Compact | Yes | Mid Range |
| Mate H50R | 640 | Extended | Yes | Mid–Long Range |
| Mate Ultra S60R | 1280 | Large Objective | Yes | Long Range |
What defines the Mate range
The Mate platform is designed as a unified clip-on system rather than a collection of unrelated models. All versions operate on the same interface and processing architecture, including Reality+ AI image enhancement and shutterless technology for continuous observation without periodic calibration interruptions.
Every model maintains IP67 environmental protection, recoil-activated video recording and WiFi connectivity. The structural differences between Lite, H and Ultra configurations are determined by sensor resolution and lens size rather than changes to operating system or core electronics.
This ensures that stepping up through the range increases performance capability without altering platform familiarity.
NocPix Mate FAQ’s
What is the main difference between the MATE Lite and other models?
The MATE Lite lacks the Laser Range Finder (LRF) and Magic Zoom, has a lower 384x288px sensor, and a 1950m detection range, but it’s lighter and more affordable.
How does Magic Zoom work?
Magic Zoom (excluded in Lite) adjusts the thermal image and interface in real-time to match your riflescope’s magnification, ensuring seamless alignment up to 16x
Is the Mate series compatible with any scope?
The M52 adapter interface ensures compatibility with most scopes, but verify your scope’s specifications before purchase.
What does the “Lite”, “H” and “Ultra” designation represent?
These reflect performance tier based on sensor resolution and objective size rather than generational change.
Do all Mate models share the same display and memory system?
Yes. All models use a 1920×1080 AMOLED display and 64GB internal storage.
