The DNT Hound H635R is a high-performance thermal imaging monocular designed for users who require increased image detail, extended detection range, and precise ranging in demanding field conditions. Built for hunting, wildlife observation, security, and professional field operations, it combines advanced thermal imaging with laser rangefinding and ballistic calculation in a compact, rugged platform.

Advanced Thermal Imaging Performance

At the core of the H635R is a 640×512 resolution thermal sensor with ≤18 mK NETD, paired with a smooth 50 Hz refresh rate for stable, high-contrast image presentation. The higher sensor resolution delivers improved target definition and finer thermal detail compared to lower-resolution systems, particularly at longer distances. A 35 mm objective lens enhances detection and recognition range while maintaining a practical field of view for scanning and observation. Visual output is delivered via a 1024×768 Micro-OLED display, ensuring clear detail and excellent contrast across varying terrain and environmental conditions. Multiple thermal colour palettes—including White Hot, Black Hot, Red Hot, and Iron Hot—allow the user to adapt imaging to different scenarios and preferences.

Integrated Laser Rangefinder & Ballistic Calculator

The integrated laser rangefinder provides accurate distance measurement from 5 to 1,200 yards, enabling fast and reliable target ranging during observation. When combined with the onboard ballistic calculator, the H635R automatically calculates holdover values based on user-defined ballistic profiles. This integration reduces reliance on external devices, streamlines workflow, and improves consistency when operating in dynamic field environments.

Optimised for Field Use

Designed for reliable operation in harsh conditions, the H635R features an IP67-rated housing that protects against dust, water ingress, and adverse weather. Its ergonomic, lightweight design supports comfortable one-handed operation, while intuitive controls allow quick adjustments even when wearing gloves. Power is supplied by a standard flat-top 18650 battery, offering extended runtime, with USB-C external power support for prolonged use in the field.

Connectivity & Recording

The H635R includes 32 GB of internal storage for capturing still images and video directly on the device. Built-in WiFi enables live streaming, remote viewing, and file transfer via the DNT mobile app, supporting documentation, training, and collaborative observation when required.
