HikMicro Stellar SX60LS 3.0 Thermal Scope

1280×1024 SX60LS High-Resolution Thermal Sensor

The HikMicro Stellar SX60LS is built around a 1280×1024 thermal detector with a 12μm pixel pitch and a stated NETD rating below 18mK. The increased native sensor resolution provides higher image detail and improved target definition compared with lower-resolution thermal systems, particularly when observing at longer distances or using digital zoom.

The 60mm F1.0 germanium objective lens provides a native magnification of 2.5× while maintaining a relatively wide field of view for scanning larger areas. HIKMICRO states a detection range of up to 3100m.

A 50Hz refresh rate supports smoother target tracking and image rendering during movement or scanning.

HSIS Shutterless System and Image Processing

The SX60LS uses the HIKMICRO Shutterless Image System (HSIS), designed to reduce image freezing associated with conventional shutter calibration systems. This allows uninterrupted observation during scanning and shooting.

Image Pro 2.0 and Zoom Pro processing are integrated to improve thermal contrast, edge definition and digital magnification clarity. The scope uses a 2560×2560 OLED display, providing significantly higher display resolution than conventional thermal optics using lower-resolution screens.

Available colour palettes include Black Hot, White Hot, Red Hot, Fusion, Red Monochrome and Green Monochrome.

Integrated Laser Rangefinder and Ballistic Functions

The HikMicro Stellar SX60LS incorporates an integrated laser rangefinder with a stated measuring distance of up to 1000m. The LRF module is integrated into the objective housing while retaining the conventional riflescope profile of the Stellar platform.

The system also supports onboard ballistic calculation functionality, allowing range data to be used for holdover correction. This configuration is intended for shooters operating across varying distances where rapid range confirmation is required.

Picture-in-picture mode, recoil-activated recording and audio recording are also included.

Traditional 30mm Tube Design

Unlike compact-format thermal optics, the Stellar SX60LS uses a traditional 30mm tube-style housing intended to replicate the feel and mounting geometry of a conventional daytime riflescope. This allows compatibility with standard 30mm scope mounts.

The magnesium alloy housing is rated to IP67 for water and dust resistance, with HIKMICRO specifying recoil resistance up to 1000g/0.4ms.

Power is supplied through a combined internal and replaceable rechargeable battery system designed for extended operating runtime. USB-C external power support is also included.

Integrated Wi-Fi connectivity allows connection to the HIKMICRO Sight application for firmware updates, image transfer and remote functions.
