Thermtec Wild 650DL Pro Thermal Monocular

Sensor & Image Performance

The ThermTec Wild 650DL Pro is built around a 640×512 uncooled microbolometer with 12µm pixel pitch and NETD <15mK@300K  . Operating within the 8–14µm spectral range at 50Hz  , the system is specified for stable thermal detection in varied environmental conditions.

Detection range is rated at 1300m / 2600m depending on focal configuration  . Thermal super resolution is implemented to enhance image detail during zoom operations  , supported by 1–4× continuous digital zoom and 1.8×–3.6× optical magnification depending on lens position  .

ThermTec AI calibration is specified for consistent image stability  . Additional image controls include selectable image modes (Forest/Rainy), adjustable sharpness, denoise, brightness and contrast parameters, and six colour palettes  .

Dual FOV Optical System

The 650DL Pro incorporates a mechanical dual FOV system with 25mm and 50mm F0.9 objective lenses  . Field of view is specified at:

• 17.5° × 14° (25mm)

• 8.8° × 7.0° (50mm) 

At 100m, coverage is rated at 30.7×24.6m / 15.4×12.3m respectively  .

This optical switching allows rapid transition between wider-area scanning and narrower-field detail assessment without changing device format.

Eye relief is specified at 20mm, exit pupil at 8mm, with ±5D diopter adjustment  .

Display & Recording

Image output is delivered via a 0.5-inch AMOLED display with 1600×1200 resolution  .

Laser Rangefinder & Power System

An integrated Class 1 laser rangefinder operates at 905nm with a stated range of 1000m and ±1m accuracy  .

Power is supplied by a replaceable and rechargeable 18650 Li-ion battery (1×18650), with up to 6 hours runtime per battery  . The soft-push battery access design allows direct removal and replacement  .

The housing is IP67 rated and specified for operation between −20°C and +50°C  . Weight is 653g ±5g, with overall dimensions 221(L) × 71(W) × 81(H) mm ±5  .
