Expert Advice & Support
Thermal Detection
The HikMicro Habrok 4K HE25L combines a 256 × 192 VOx uncooled focal plane thermal detector with a 12 μm pixel pitch and thermal sensitivity of less than 35 mK (NETD). Operating at 50 Hz, the thermal channel provides smooth image refresh while maintaining the ability to distinguish relatively small temperature differences that may become difficult to detect using conventional optical observation alone.
A 25 mm F1.0 objective lens provides a thermal detection range of up to 1,200 metres, while manual focus adjustment allows the image to be optimised across varying observation distances. Native thermal magnification starts at 4.3× and extends to 17.2× using digital zoom, with a 7.0° × 5.3° field of view balancing wide-area observation with sufficient image scale for identifying heat sources at longer distances. Four thermal palettes consisting of Black Hot, White Hot, Red Hot and Fusion allow the displayed image to be adapted according to terrain, background temperature and personal viewing preference.
4K Optical Viewing
Alongside the thermal system, the HE25L incorporates a 3840 × 2160 progressive scan CMOS sensor paired with a 60 mm F2.2 optical objective. This dedicated optical channel provides full-colour daylight viewing together with monochrome night operation using the integrated infrared illuminator, allowing a single binocular to remain usable throughout changing light conditions without changing equipment.
Optical magnification ranges from 5.5× to 22× using digital zoom, while the manually adjustable focus ring allows image sharpness to be refined at different viewing distances. The integrated 850 nm infrared illuminator extends night viewing capability to approximately 400 metres where ambient light is limited. Image presentation is viewed through a 1920 × 1080 OLED display with adjustable brightness, contrast and colour tone settings, together with Zoom Pro image processing and selectable Day, Night and Auto optical viewing modes. The binocular also provides an 8 mm exit pupil, 15 mm eye relief and dioptre adjustment from -5 D to +3 D to accommodate different users.
Integrated Features
The Habrok 4K HE25L integrates several observation tools within the binocular housing, reducing the need for additional accessories in the field. A built-in Class 1 laser rangefinder measures distances from 10 metres to 1,000 metres with stated accuracy of ±1 metre, allowing range information to be obtained without leaving the binocular view.
Images and video can be recorded directly to the internal 64 GB eMMC memory, with audio recording also supported. Additional functions include Picture-in-Picture viewing, Hot Track, hotspot functionality, GPS, a digital magnetic compass and standby mode. Captured media can be reviewed through the local album, while USB Type-C connectivity supports external power input for extended operating sessions. Power is supplied by replaceable rechargeable lithium-ion batteries providing a stated operating time of up to eight hours under standard test conditions with hotspot disabled.
Practical Design and Handling
The HikMicro Habrok 4K HE25L is housed within a binocular-style chassis weighing 795 g without batteries and carries an IP67 environmental protection rating for operation in challenging weather conditions. The binocular measures 138 × 68.2 × 223 mm and incorporates an adjustable interpupillary distance from 60 mm to 74 mm, allowing the eyepieces to be matched to individual users for more comfortable viewing over extended periods.
The thermal and optical channels each feature independent manual focus rings, allowing image sharpness to be adjusted according to viewing distance. A standard 1/4”-20 UNC mounting thread enables the binocular to be fitted to compatible tripods when prolonged observation is required. The operating temperature range of -30°C to +55°C allows the unit to remain functional across a wide range of environmental conditions, while replaceable rechargeable lithium-ion batteries allow depleted batteries to be exchanged without relying solely on external power sources.

Dale Griffiths –
Happy with my purchase. I was on a budget and needed a device that was low cost but still provided different features. Fast delivery next day.
Lee Gould –
Lightweight setup , allows me to identify at long range , didn’t break the bank either . Good service and shipping . Thanks
Fred Dearing –
Fast delivery . Happy with the Product . Thanks
Geoff Bailey –
Awesome lightweight unit. The 4K image is excellent, for the price you get a lot of features. The thermal side of things works fine, but is lower spec compared to the rest of the product. LRF is a real help with distances. Happy with the product and service. Will use again.
