Neos NH25L Overview

The Neos NH25L LRF is built around HIKMICRO’s VOx uncooled thermal imaging system using a 320×240 resolution sensor and 12μm pixel pitch. The optical system is based on a 25mm F1.0 germanium lens, producing a fixed optical magnification of 3.5× with extended digital zoom for closer target assessment.

The inclusion of an integrated laser rangefinder differentiates the NH25L from non-LRF Neos variants, providing distance measurement functionality within the same compact 30mm tube chassis. The platform retains the series’ focus on simplified handling and reduced system weight compared to higher-tier multifunction thermal optics.

Image processing is handled through HIKMICRO’s Image Pro 3.0, Zoom Pro and HSIS shutterless system, designed to maintain continuous image output without periodic calibration interruptions. This supports consistent target observation during scanning and engagement.

Optical and Imaging System

The Neos NH25L uses a 25mm F1.0 objective lens paired with a 320×240 thermal sensor. The resulting optical configuration is intended for mid-range observation and identification, with a 50Hz refresh rate supporting stable image motion rendering.

Display output is provided via a 1920×1080 AMOLED screen, allowing multiple viewing modes depending on user preference. The combination of high-resolution display and low-resolution thermal sensor is processed through internal image enhancement algorithms to improve contrast definition.

Detection capability is specified at up to 1200m.

Recording and Internal Functions

The Neos NH25L includes onboard recording functionality covering video capture, image capture and audio recording. Recoil-activated recording is also supported. Internal storage is specified at 64GB EMMC.

The system supports five zeroing profiles, enabling multiple rifle or ammunition configurations to be stored independently without repeated re-zeroing.

A quick-start function is included with a quoted one-second activation time.

Power and Physical Characteristics

The NH25L is powered by an internal and external battery combination, with a quoted runtime of up to 9.5 hours depending on operating conditions. The unit is constructed around a 30mm tube mounting system to maintain compatibility with standard scope mounts.

Environmental protection is rated to IP67, with an operating temperature range of -30°C to 55°C. Total weight is specified at 540g.

The integrated laser rangefinder provides onboard distance measurement capability, differentiating the NH25L from non-LRF configurations within the same Neos series.

Field Positioning

Within the Neos range, the NH25L occupies the LRF-equipped mid-tier configuration, balancing compact thermal imaging hardware with added ranging functionality. It retains the same core imaging architecture as non-LRF variants while extending operational utility through integrated distance measurement.
